i'm lovin' it

Posted by joonk at 04:26 PM on October 10, 2003.

for those of you who don't know, that is the new mcdonalds slogan: "i'm lovin' it". yeah, pretty much gay. i'm here in new jersey now in jaymin b's apt. he lives well, like the pimp he is. he has a view of the city and lives in what i would consider a nice area of jersey city. this morning we got up and went to stand in line for conan tickets or so...well the process is weird but we got stand by tickets...yes correction, stand by tickets, not real tickets. hopefully we can get into the recording. last night we went to a bar and it was the first time i've been to a bar since i've turned 21. it was a nice ny atmosphere, they had some kind of sorostitute party but it was str8, mad hot sorostitutes. plust it was open bar for 12$, so yeah, pretty much drank a little bit while watching the yanks come through in the clutch. andy petite is amazing. ok well i'm spending my days freaking hoping for a paris hilton sighting. gosh i hope i see her. "ok bye".

guess who's back? back again?

Posted by joonk at 08:34 PM on July 17, 2003.

after a long while I have finally decided to update my xan...oh i mean tabulas. hehe. what has been going on with me? well not much, really. I have been in Charlotte working various jobs, from delivering Yellow Books to working for my parents at their sweat shop. I really feel chinese doing all that labor for 2 cents or whatever. Also, I have been taking second summer session at the University of Charlotte, where I am enrolled in International Relations and accounting. already school is no fun.

besides all that technical stuff, i have been really blessed to be able to lead praise with chris and louis for our old church. its really been a blessing to me and its preparing me for maybe something i want to do in the future. btw jaymin, we didn't spend allour money on food....when did you win that im soccer championship again? all of a sudden the desire to update has left me, but at least i did it. that was half the battle...now maintaining my site is a must....peece

great taste! less filling! great taste!....

Posted by joonk at 03:26 AM on May 24, 2003.

Long time no update, but there really hasn't been a need to, like you know, I haven't been drawn to the xanga/tabulas site to update you know? Well, here is something worthy of mentioning though, I don't care if it sounds like I'm bragging, but dude, if you did it, you would too.

I TALKED TO THE MILLER LITE GIRLS.

yes, the same ones that do the "great taste" "less filling" commercials. oh my goodness, can i just say, HOT. so yeah they were on a radio show, 610 AM in charlotte, the show is called "Primetime with the Packman." Anyways, I'm driving to the Siskey Y and I hear these girls' voices on the radio, just unbelievably beautiful voices and I find out they belong to none other than the Miller Lite girls. Well needless to say, I was attracted by the voices and I heard that they were going to start taking calls. I thought about it for a second, then was like, dude, when else would I ever get a chance to talk to the Miller Lite girls. Well, I don't have a recording, but this is (i think?) how some of the conversation went:

Mark Packer: we got joon on a carphone in charlotte, joon what's going on?

me, somewhat awestruck that I was really doing this: uh doing great, this is why your show is the best packman, hope you ladies are having a good afternoon as well.

miller lite girls: something something something, just beautiful voices talking

me: what do you think of the new commercials? (I should have asked, so why do you really like miller lite, b/c it is great tasting or less filling?)

miller lite girls (kitana and tanya are the names): something about they like them, whatever, something about the deusch guys that are on the commercials.

me: are y'all gonna get a new commercial?

miller lite girls: in depth detail on there new commercial airing on june 2, how it will be the best one yet (gosh their voices) and how they get in the water and out or whatever...wow just great hehe

me: wow, great (w/ some feedback by packer too)...i can't wait till i tell my friends i talked to y'all

kitana and tanya: awwwwwwwwhh

wow...that was great! dude that ruled.

well yeah, back in c town for a bit, just chillin out really. I just found out today that on Sat., May 31, 10 am, there is the basketball tournament for $$$$$. 1st place wins $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $200...but i'm lookin for first. last year we got shafted b/c they wouldn't let our ni-hao friends play, but this year i am coming back w/ a vengence and winning $500. hit me up if anyone wants to play....aight y'all, take care.

out here hope remains

5:03 p.m. Lakers are losing to the Spurs and I don't know why, I wish the Lakers would just go on one of their traditional playoff tears and just plow through the spurs. Kings lost too, which would leave me "currently feeling disappointed." However, I do believe the Chris Webber-less Kings will still be too much team to handle for the Mavs and the Lakers/Spurs.

OK I just went to the bathroom and a lot happened that I can add to my tabular journal. First off, I realized I was bleeding in my right ear, where my ice is...hehe jk, my fake cubic z. earring, but yeah, it was caked in blood and I didn't freak out like I normally do when I see blood, but man, maybe I have to sacrifice the "ice" for health purposes or sanitation or so. Also, I see this on my im screen:

thug4life royboy (5:02:57 PM): i'm a hata thug
thug4life royboy (5:03:01 PM): i hates the queens
thug4life royboy (5:03:04 PM): i'm glad webber's out
thug4life royboy (5:03:08 PM): i LIKE it
thug4life royboy (5:03:23 PM): let's see how long their 'depth' lasts now

So much hate from the guy who likes Kobe. Sorry Mr. Founder of Tabulas, the Kings and their "depth" are going to "come together" and play the real team basketball they are capable of. It is just a matter of learning defense.

Happy Mothers Day to all mothers that may be reading this.

Church today was nice, I thorougly enjoyed it. I needed it and P. Moon's message was hot. At first I was like, "miracles? what?" But then it was sweet, how everything is a miracle and how we have to seek the "miracle maker" (as rev. Charles Junn would say, "Jeeesus"), not the miracles and how God needs us for miracles to happen, he makes them happen through us. Good stuff, really just good stuff.

I also found my long-lost capo (4) today...hehe i like just to say capo 4 or capo 2, instead of just capo. I believe the fret belongs to the capo, but yes I was freakin happy so now I can stay outside, sit on my cooler and play caedmon's call capo 4 all day! woo hoo.

Oh(sofunk)...hehhe..i'm gonna use this feature where my tabular entry will go onto my xanga too...note to all you xanga users, get tabulas! it rocks.

I was gonna write something else, but I forgot....oh yeah, i get a smiley. how hot is that?

...kings baby
